Cheezy Alkaline Kale Chips
Cheezy Alkaline Kale Chips
Ingredients:
1 bunch of organic kale
1 tablespoon of any of the approved oils. I prefer grapeseed, olive, or avocado oil…coconut oil would probably not taste too great! I suggest you only buy and use cold-pressed.
Sea salt to taste
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 Cup of Tahini Butter
¼ Cup of Key Lime Juice
Pinch of cayenne pepper (optional, for some heat)
Sesame Seeds
Prepare Kale:
Wash the kale thoroughly and dry by patting it down with paper towels or using a salad spinner. Fun EMBARRISING FACT: I used to think a salad spinner was for tossing salads. ☹ Anyway, remove the tough stems and tear the leaves into bite-sized pieces.
Massage Kale:
In a large bowl, drizzle the kale with any of the suggested Dr. Sebi approved oils and massage it gently. This helps to coat the kale evenly.
Seasoning:
In a small bowl, mix together sea salt, onion powder, and cayenne pepper if using. Then pour in the tahini, then key lime juice. PRO TIP: Pour in the tahini and key lime juice, half at a time. I like my kale chips tart and a ¼ cup may be too murrrch for you. 😊
Coat with Seasoning:
Sprinkle the seasoning mix over the kale and toss until the leaves are evenly coated. Then sprinkle the sesame seeds.
Next,
Taste it! Is it missing anything? ANOTHER FUN FACT: I ate almost half of my food at this point a few times before I had the chance to make them chips. Whew. Anywho, feel free to FREESTYLE! That’s what “Cooking” is…although we’re not cooking exactly, but getting in the kitchen is about experimenting!
Arrange on Baking Sheet:
I don’t line my dehydrator, though you may want too. If you do, line it with parchment paper. Arrange the seasoned kale leaves in a single layer, ensuring they are not crowded.
Dehydrate on Medium for about 2 hours. Check on them. Are they crispy enough for you? No, then keep dehydrating and take mental note on how long it takes for your type of dehydrator. Just like ovens, dehydrators are different! Keep an eye on them to prevent burning.
Let Cool and Enjoy:
Once done, remove from the dehydrator and let the kale chips cool for a few minutes…if you can! But note, they will crisp up further as they cool. Enjoy your alkaline kale chips!
Remember to follow Dr. Sebi's guidelines for choosing organic and natural ingredients. Adjust the seasoning to your taste preferences. Enjoy your healthy and alkaline snack!
Peace out!
Chk'n Noodle Soup
💥’CHKN’ NOODLE CUP-A-SOUP💥PUT IT IN A MASON JAR AND TAKE IT ON THE GO!
👉🏽Begin by adding all of your ingredients to your pot over medium-high heat (all except spelt noodles and mushrooms). Allow to cook for approx 45 mins (to the point where your water has reduced by approx 1/4, creating a beautiful rich colour, full of flavour type broth - be mindful not to over reduce, as we still need enough liquid to cook the noodles towards the end).
👉🏽In the meanwhile, prepare your ‘chkn’! To do so, shred the stalks of your mushrooms with a fork and finely slice the caps (You can easily shred your mushrooms using a fork, by pressing into your stalks with the tips of the fork and dragging down to shred).
👉🏽Add your shredded mushrooms to a separate pan along with some sea salt and 1 + 2/3 cups of water. Allow to cook until all water has evaporated, then stir fry for several minutes.
👉🏽Transfer your mushrooms and your noodles to your boiling broth, cooking for approx 6 mins further (you want to wait to add your ‘chkn’ and noodles in towards the end, once the soup is almost ready).
👉🏽Place lid on to your soup pot and remove from the heat, allowing your noodles time to further swell and absorb all the flavours of your broth.
👉🏽Season to taste with some additional sea salt (if necessary) before digging in! I love adding some fresh avocado to serve! Don't add the avocado, chayote, or cream if you need to clear up mucus. Those these are alkaline, they could slow the progression of getting better...quicker! :)

Alkaline Berry Bounty Bites
✨INGREDIENTS:
👉🏽𝘽𝙀𝙍𝙍𝙔 𝘾𝙀𝙉𝙏𝙍𝙀
📌1/4xCup Agave
📌1xCup Frozen Strawberries
📌2xCups Shredded Coconut
📌2xTbsp Coconut Oil
📌1/2-1xTsp Raspberry Powder
👉🏽𝙂𝙇𝘼𝙕𝙀/𝙒𝙃𝙄𝙏𝙀 𝘾𝙃𝙊𝘾𝙊𝙇𝘼𝙏𝙀 𝙎𝙏𝙔𝙇𝙀 𝙎𝘼𝙐𝘾𝙀
📌(Page 21 of eBook - Used my Toffee Caramel recipe, omitting the date syrup - 𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙠 𝙞𝙣 𝙗𝙞𝙤)
✨HOW TO:
👉🏽Start by mixing all your berry centre ingredients together in a blender.
👉🏽Once completely combined, transfer mix to round moulds (if you don’t have any moulds on hand, option to roll into bite sized balls instead and place onto some baking paper).
👉🏽Freeze for approx 30-60 mins (until firm).
👉🏽Prepare your glaze in the meantime.
👉🏽Using a fork, coat your balls in your glaze, then place back onto your baking paper (option to place in small cupcake paper cases instead). Make sure to allow your ball to sit on your fork for a minute first, whilst most the excess glaze falls away…this also allows some extra time to kick start the setting process and ensure a smooth finish.
👉🏽FYI-Once the glaze/choc hits the cold surface of your balls, it’ll start to set right away!
👉🏽Place in the freezer for approx 10-15 mins more, before digging in!
✨SIDE NOTES:
✏️Recreate into various shapes based on whatever moulds you have on hand…think cubes, slices, cups etc!
✏️The berry centre pairs really well with my electric dark chocolate too!
