SEEDED Oranges start out green

Let me break it down, fam! Malabsorption is like this big umbrella that covers a bunch of issues making it hard for your body to soak up all the good stuff from your food. You might be eating all the right nutrients, but if your body can’t absorb them, you could end up feeling sluggish, dealing with indigestion, or even facing malnutrition. It’s not about from a lack of eating; it’s about your body not doing its job to get the nutrients it needs. So, if you’re feeling off and can’t quite put your finger on it, it might be time to dig deeper into what’s happening with your digestion! Hit me up for a free 15-minute consultation.

There's always a reason how big brands got their start. It started from the research that most orange #electricfruits help you absorb nutrients. So again, if you're taking all the right things like Sea Moss, etc., your body may not recognize it.

Malabsorption can lead to various complications, such as:

  1. Gastrointestinal Problems: This includes chronic diarrhea, bloating, gas, and greasy stools.

  2. Malnutrition: You might experience poor weight gain or unintended weight loss.

  3. Anemia: This can be a long-term issue resulting from nutrient deficiencies.

  4. Gallstones: These can develop as a potential long-term complication.

  5. Kidney Stones: Similar to gallstones, kidney stones may also be a risk.

  6. Weak Bones: Malabsorption can lead to thin and weakened bones over time.

  7. Osteoporosis: This condition involves low bone density, increasing the risk of fractures.

  8. Immunodeficiency: This state can arise, often due to opportunistic infections.

  9. Increased Infection Risk: When your body isn’t absorbing vital nutrients and minerals, it can compromise your immune system, leading to a higher chance of infections.

Many people do not get enough nutrients from diet alone, however, the majority of the supplements made available today are artificially made (Brown, 2016; Fulgoni et al., 2011).  Artificial supplements not only include vitamins, but antioxidants, minerals, and amino acids, and others are typically artificially made as well.  Natural nutrients can only be obtained from whole food sources in the diet (Brown, 2016), which Sea Moss is labeled as a Super Food.

According to research, vitamins are a man-made system, and the human body only needs minerals. Yes, we need Vitamin D, however, we can't bottle up the sun.  Needing natural nutrients (that the sun can provide for example) is how the “Vitamin” system came to be.  What started out as a way to communicate to patients, became a lucrative way to capitalize off consumers.

For now, companies must still be honest on the ingredient labels so consumers will understand the FULL ingredient list in the product.  We’ve adopted the saying, “The front is for entertainment, the back is for education” (Orisha, 2020).  #ReadTheLabels and pray the companies must remain honest for….ever…forever, ever…..ever ever!

I, Dr. Truth, is BARING IT ALL!

Great day, beautiful people! It’s your girl, Dr. Truth, and today... I’m baring it ALL!

Now, before y'all think I’ve lost my mind, let me break it down. 👏🏽 No filters, no fancy lights, no "let me hide this roll behind my arm" tricks. We’re talking about the REAL me – unfiltered, unbothered, and unapologetic. Because let’s face it, we ALL have our befores and afters, but most of the time, folks only want to show you the highlight reel.

But today, I’m flipping the script.

I’m showing you my journey—from rolls to revelations, from wigs to wisdom. Yep, I’m even snatching this wig off and showing you what’s real underneath. 'Cause let’s be honest, this glow-up wasn’t just physical—it’s spiritual, it’s mental, and it’s 100% ELECTRIC.

Why am I doing this?

Because you deserve to see that EVERY transformation is messy. EVERY change comes with vulnerability. And EVERY person has the power to turn their 'before' into the greatest 'after'—but ONLY if they’re willing to get real about what it takes.

The truth is, the journey ain’t always pretty. There were moments I wanted to give up, moments I doubted myself, moments where I wore my wig like a crown to hide behind... and moments where my own reflection was my biggest enemy.

But that’s exactly why I’m sharing this with you today. I’m no different than you. I’m just a sista who decided to get real with herself and Reboot Her Roots. And if I can do it, so can you.

So, if you’re ready to step into YOUR after—whether it’s health, self-love, or just finally letting that wig go—let's do this together! It’s time to get electric, baby, and live a life that's free from hiding.

Transformation is a full-body experience.
From head to toe, from heart to soul… and baby, I’m here to show you it ALL. You in?

Who IS Dr. Sebi?

Keeping his legacy alive!

The Man, The Healer, The Legacy

Alright, let’s get into it. I’m about to introduce you to a man whose name is buzzing around the holistic health scene like that good coconut water at Sprouts. Who’s this legend? Dr. Sebi.

But wait, let’s clear the air first—Dr. Sebi isn’t some trendy, one-and-done name-drop. He’s the man who dared to shake up the health industry and give the big wigs the side-eye, all while keeping it 100% natural. Yup, Dr. Sebi was ahead of his time, dropping knowledge bombs long, long, long before “plant-based” was a hashtag.

Dr. Sebi, born Alfredo Darrington Bowman, was a Honduran herbalist and healer who believed in one thing: your body can heal itself—if you give it the right tools. And by tools, I don’t mean your multi-vitamins from the drugstore or those 30-day juice cleanses you find on Instagram. Nah, Sebi was all about electric foods—foods that keep your body charged up and running like the energizer bunny.

What set Dr. Sebi apart was his no-nonsense approach. He didn’t believe in Western medicine’s quick-fix pills or surgeries. He believed in returning to the earth, to nature, and embracing alkaline foods to flush out the toxins that keep you sick and stuck. And the man didn’t just talk the talk—he walked it. Healing himself from conditions like asthma and diabetes, and about 20 other FTD's (Food Transmitted Dis-eases).  Sebi became living proof that his methodology worked. He wasn’t just talking; he was the blueprint.

But his most significant claim to fame? He stood toe-to-toe with the U.S. legal system—and won. When he was sued for claiming that he could cure diseases like AIDS, he had the receipts to back it up in court. The case? Dropped. Dr. Sebi? A legend forever.

At AllThingsAlkaline.org, we’re all about keeping Dr. Sebi’s legacy alive because his work isn’t just a trend—it’s a movement. A movement that’s empowering people to take back control of their health, naturally, holistically, and powerfully.

So, if you’ve been wondering who Dr. Sebi is, now you know: he’s the man who turned the health game upside down and showed us a way out of the cycles that keep us dependent on the systems that don’t serve us. This blog is our way of continuing his message. We’re bringing electric vibes, electric foods, and an electrified community ready to Reboot their Roots and heal from the inside out. Let’s keep it going, because this is just the beginning!

How Milk is Made

Female cows on commercial farms are artificially inseminated and often kept in overcrowded conditions, standing in the urine and feces of other cows. After giving birth, they are mechanically milked twice a day.  Why? Click here for more info!

Food Sensitivities

There are several intriguing cases where individuals discovered allergies or sensitivities to foods generally considered healthy, such as salmon, chicken, or vegetables…even foods from Dr. Sebi’s Nutritional Guide. One particularly interesting case involved a young woman who experienced persistent digestive issues and fatigue, despite adhering to a diet rich in vegetables, “lean proteins” like chicken and salmon, and whole grains. After undergoing a comprehensive food sensitivity test, she was surprised to learn that her body was reacting negatively to several of these "healthy" foods.

The Case of the Young Woman Allergic to "Healthy" Foods

Background:

A 28-year-old woman had been experiencing unexplained bloating, fatigue, and occasional skin rashes for several years.

She maintained a balanced diet, heavily focusing on vegetables, “lean proteins” like chicken and salmon, and avoiding processed foods.  Why do I put lean proteins in quotations?  Welp, first of all, meats are considered a level 1 or 2 carcinogen.  Second, the best proteins come from plants. For more details, get my first book here! It may still be free?

Symptoms:

Chronic bloating and digestive discomfort.

Persistent fatigue despite adequate sleep and exercise.

Sporadic skin rashes without an obvious cause.

Testing and Diagnosis:

After conventional medical tests failed to pinpoint the issue, she decided to take a food sensitivity test.

The test revealed sensitivities to:

Chicken: Often praised for its lean protein content and low-fat profile.

Salmon: Known for its omega-3 fatty acids and heart-healthy benefits.

Spinach, Broccoli, Quinoa: Vegetables renowned for their nutrient density.

Outcome:

Upon eliminating these specific foods from her diet, she noticed a significant improvement in her symptoms.

Her bloating reduced substantially, energy levels increased, and the skin rashes diminished.

ANALYSIS

Surprise Factor:

Foods like chicken, salmon, vegetables, and grains are typically considered staples of a healthy diet, making this case particularly surprising.

The concept of being sensitive to such nutritious foods challenges common dietary assumptions.

Mechanism:

Food sensitivities can develop due to various factors, including gut health, immune system responses, and individual biochemical reactions.

In this case, the woman's immune system likely reacted to proteins or other components in these foods, leading to her symptoms.

Broader Implications:

This case underscores the importance of personalized nutrition and the realization that one-size-fits-all dietary recommendations do not work for everyone.

It also highlights the value of food sensitivity testing for individuals with unexplained health issues, even when those issues arise from consuming foods widely regarded as healthy.

Conclusion

This case exemplifies the complex relationship between diet and health, illustrating that even the most healthful foods can sometimes trigger adverse reactions in certain individuals. It reinforces the need for personalized dietary approaches and the potential benefits of food sensitivity testing in uncovering hidden causes of chronic health problems.  A (modified) fast may be needed to cleanse and reset the digestive system, allowing individuals to reintroduce foods gradually and identify specific sensitivities accurately.

Combination Fruit Chart

Are you constantly bloated?  You may be eating me wrong!  ...fruits, that is!  View this combination chart and learn how to properly eat fruit. Here are some more tips:

Let's talk fruit. There's a lot of confusion swirling around about whether it's a healthy choice. I'm here to break it down for you so you can make an informed decision.

First up, the sugar debate. Yes, fruit has sugar, but it's not the same as downing a soda. Fruit comes with fiber, antioxidants, and vitamin C, which help slow down sugar absorption. Still, if you're loading up on burgers and fries, your body might not handle fruit so well.

When it comes to timing, eating fruit on an empty stomach is your best bet. Mixing it with other foods can lead to a major tummy ache. And no one wants that.

So, here's the lowdown: enjoy your fruit, but be mindful. Opt for lower sugar options like berries, and try to eat them on their own. Your stomach will thank you.

And hey, I know this might sound complicated, but trust me, it's worth it. Say goodbye to bloating and hello to feeling awesome!

To sum it all up:

-Eat alkaline-electric fruit on an empty stomach.

-Allow your first meal to be alkaline-electric fruit.

-If you can fast until at least noon, that would be great!

-Eat only seeded fruit, but not at the same time as eating the fruit. It causes bloating.

-Eat fruit about one hour (or longer) before a meal or two hours (or longer) after.

-See chart below for proper combos of fruits.
