Raw Stuffed Burrito

Inspired by @turnipvegan

Ingredients:

Collard Green Wrap

Collard green leaves

Lime

Extra virgin avocado oil, olive oil, or grapeseed oil (cold-pressed as always)

 

Walnut Meat:

2 cups of soaked raw walnuts (always soak ya' nuts for at least 4 hours)

2 cups of chopped butternut squash

1 Tbsp + 1.5 tsp  coco aminos

1 Tbsp of avocado oil, extra virgin olive oil, or grapeseed oil 

1/2 habanero pepper deseeded (optional)

4 dates, pits removed

1 -2 full juices of lime (I love the tart taste!) 

Sea Salt to taste

Papaya Seeds (black peppery taste) to taste

2 Tbsp hemp seeds (optional)

 

1 c Wild Rice 

1-2 c Rough Chooped Mushrooms (I like it without tho!)

1/4 c Finely chopped Red Onion

More Lime....zesty it up!

1/4 c Cilantro 

Sea Salt to taste

Papaya Seeds (black peppery taste) to taste

 

Creamy Ginger Lime Sauce

1 cup raw brazil nuts

2 Tbsp raw agave or date syrup

1 Tbsp freshly chopped ginger

Juice of 2 limes

1/4 cup of Red Onion

Small handful cilantro 

2 Tbsp hemp seeds

1/3 cup SPRING water

Sea Salt to taste

Papaya Seeds (black peppery taste) to taste

 

Other Ingredients:

Avocado (my mouth is watering just thinking of avocados!)  #sigh

Sliced red onion

Sliced red bell pepper

Chopped mango (not for me, but maybe for you!)

Step 1. Clean and cut the stem off the bottom of collard greens. Rub a little lime and oil on both sides of collard greens and place to the side. 

Step 2. Add ingredients for walnut meat to a food processor and blend for 1-2 minutes if you want texture. Feel free to blend upto 3 minutes if you prefer a smoother finish. Place in a container to the side. 

Step 3. Add all ingredients for wild rice to the food processor and blend. Place in a container to the side. 

Step 4. Add all the ingredients for the ginger-lime sauce to a blender and blend until you have a smooth, creamy sauce.

Step 5. Build your wrap by wrapping all the ingredients into the collard green leaves; for more oversized wraps, use two big leaves.

I feel like the quality of people is just going away!  Am I alone in this feeling?  Looking deeper into this, I feel there are a LOT of people that are truly unhappy.  Unhappy with their jobs, unhappy with the way they feel on the inside and outside, the way they look, and overall, themselves!!  I think I’m going to start doing some self-help chats.

Anyway, this overall unhappiness pours into the terrible quality that I receive in customer service with other businesses.  

 

But here's the good news—I believe in the power of positivity, change, and collective action. Together, we can make a difference and raise the bar for quality in every aspect of life!

Here's what we can do:

Commendations and Salutations Peeps!

Allow me to reintroduce myself!  Like many of you, I faced a series of health challenges that left me feeling misunderstood and unheard by medical professionals. Despite being told that “you’re fine!”, I knew deep down that something wasn't right. Determined to take control of my well-being, I embarked on a journey of self-discovery and transformation. It all began with a simple shift in my LIVEit (not DIEt) inspired by Dr. Sebi.  This resulted in remarkable improvements in my health and vitality.   Follow me for REAL healthy, yet TASTY treats!  I discovered that I can have pizzas, burgers, chicken, etc….just the Alkaline Way!  Nah, like for real-for real!

Once I raised my body’s frequency by eating more LIVING foods, my body wanted more!  Along my continued journey, I stumbled upon a profound realization – that what we put ON our bodies is just as important as what we IN them.  Overtime…. A LONG time actually, I began to read my clothing labels, just like I did with my food labels.  Lots of my clothing were made with Polyester, Nylon, and Spandex.  I researched them all and we dumfounded when I discovered the many links to CANCERS, REPRODUCTIVE ISSUES, SKIN IRRITATIONS, HEART PROBLEMS, AND SOOOOOOOOO MUCH MORE!! 

YIKES!!

So, what did I do?  I started shopping til' I dropped! Ha! Yeah right!  I was and still am a full-time PhD Student, focused on getting a better job so I can afford quality; food and clothing, housing, reliable car….all that!  7 years later….I’m still in school.  #Sigh  Getting blatantly treated differently than my counterparts is another story I’ll tell you about later.  #keepfollowingmefasho!

So anyway, I couldn’t afford the quality I wanted for my body on top of the fact I didn’t want to start dressing like “White Jesus”,

…so I’m taking matters in my own hands and making my own ish!  Inspired by this epiphany, I’m embarking on a mission to create a sustainable clothing line that not only looks good but also feels good, inside and out. 

While I share my very personal journey with you, I just hope you can relate in some way!  Not that I want you to have what I suffered from but, if possible, you can learn what NOT to do.  Don’t get burned from the same stove I did.  But if you did (or you do), let’s learn and GROW together! 

No longer am I going to keep waiting to find someone that looks like me to share what they’re going through.  No longer am I going to #sufferinsilence

I just pray my story of health, sustainability, and style, will remind you all that positive change starts with a single, determined step.  #staytuned

Fish n' Chips

We haven't met a dish we couldn't alkalinize yet! Thank you for sharing @neri_alkaline_living Alkaline Vegan Fish And Chips

Ingredients:

Banana Blossom
1L spring water
1 tbsp nori flakes
1/2 key lime juice
1/2 tsp sea salt

Cook until soft

Wet batter:
1 cup spring water
1 1/2 cup chickpeas flour- you can also use spelt flour
1/2 tsp sea salt
Cayenne pepper
1 tsp onion powder
1/4 tsp ginger powder - optional

Dry batter:
1 cup quinoa or spelt flour
1/2 tsp sea salt
Cayenne pepper
1 tbsp nori flakes
1/2 tsp onion powder

Grapeseed oil for frying

Green burro bananas to make chips
